Founder, Invest with Prudie

I'm a self-taught investor who built Invest with Prudie's 25-lesson curriculum, drawing on eight years in B2B SaaS across revenue operations and customer success. I build the tool I wish I'd had: one that shows its work instead of asking you to trust a black box.

My parents built something from nothing. They immigrated with little more than drive, discipline, and a belief that the next generation would go further. They were right. But there was one thing I had to figure out largely on my own: how money actually works, how to grow it, and how to make it work for me the way it works for people who grew up already knowing.

That learning curve is the whole reason Invest with Prudie exists. I built the course I wished I had found years earlier, one that takes the subject seriously, builds in the right order, and assumes you are intelligent but simply were never taught this.

Why I'm the one building this

Experience

I learned investing the hard way: self-directed, from primary sources, by managing my own portfolio across taxable and retirement accounts rather than handing it to an advisor. Everything in the course is something I use myself. The lessons exist because I needed them first.

Expertise

I designed and wrote all 25 lessons, from what money is through portfolio construction and tax-aware investing. My professional background is eight years in B2B SaaS, in revenue operations and customer success, where the daily work is turning messy systems into clear, decision-ready models. That is exactly the skill financial literacy requires.

Method

The course is not improvised. Every structural choice, from the order of concepts to how feedback is delivered, is grounded in peer-reviewed learning science: anchored instruction, cognitive load theory, spaced repetition, and the generation effect. You can read the reasoning behind each decision on The Science page.

Accountability

Invest with Prudie is an independent project, built and run by me, and you can reach a real person at our contact page. It is an educational platform, not a financial advisor. Nothing here is personalized investment advice, and you stay in control of every decision. Every guide follows our editorial standards. The whole point is that you own the math.

What I'm building toward

The wealth gap in this country is, in large part, a knowledge gap. California recently mandated financial literacy in every public high school and signed executive orders expanding wealth-building access. A long overdue acknowledgment that the information itself has always been the barrier, and that closing it changes what is possible across generations.

Invest with Prudie is my contribution to that: free to start, rigorous throughout, and built for anyone who is ready to close the gap for themselves and their family. If you have a question or just want to say hello, reach out. I read every message.
